Twice a year the Ladue Broadcast students get an opportunity to work with a local film organization, HEC-TV. I've never produced anything for them before this month. I created three short factoids for their upcoming show. One of my factoids focused on the birds with the most and least amount of feathers. Another one was about the longest paper airplane flight, and my last one showed that hummingbirds are the only birds able fly backwards. I'm not sure I love making factoids since they are so short. I feel like I don't have enough space to add my creativity. However, I like how simple it is. The show that HEC-TV produces, Explore!, is for elementary and middle school students. I had a lot of fun trying to make my videos interesting to a younger audience. I'm pretty happy with how my factoids turned out. Next month, I'm making a music video and I'm super excited. Stay tuned for more information!
