This month I worked on the class of 1973's 40th reunion video. Most of my classmates were either shooting a short film or doing interviews for HEC-TV or PBS. I like interviewing, but I wanted to do something more creative. My teacher, Mr. Goble, sent my classmates and me an e-mail asking if anyone would be interested in making a short parody film for the Ladue class of 1973. I was very excited because I could get the chance to be creative. I spent many days preparing and the filming day didn't go as planned. I found out there was no real script or story line. I didn't want to give up on the project because I didn't want to let my client down, but I also didn't want to get a bad grade. My client wanted a 5-10 minute short film but I had to do what was best for both situations and cut it down to a :90 second montage. I made one and finished but wasn't too satisfied. I was looking through background music and found the perfect song and I visioned a great montage that I could put together. I trashed my old project and created this one! It was a rocky road but it taught me a lot and gave me a chance to be creative. Go to my videos page to check it out!!
