Breast cancer awareness month is celebrated throughout October. Survivors like Diane Gallant and Chantelle Nickson-Clark take this time to reflect on their journey conquering cancer. Both women, along with other patients, received help from Gateway To Hope. This organization gives support to women who hear the four dreaded words, “You have breast cancer".

The Sparkle Effect is a nationwide dance program that brings together students with and without disabilities. This club gives special needs students a role in school activities. By cheering and playing games, the Sparkle Club provides a fun place for anyone to socialize. Sophomore Ali Gold brought this club to Ladue earlier this year.
